How does Mobile Home Swop work?

We offer a friendly & affordable service which enables you to travel around the UK & Europe in a new exciting way. We offer this service to mobile home owners just like yourselves. After becoming a member, you simply send us all the relevant information and pictures, we upload your details and create a professional looking advert you are then free to contact other members. "pick it, swop it, enjoy".

How much does it cost?

This week we are purely launching the website, which means there is a opportunity for the first 75 members to sign up absolutely free! Usual rate will be £37 a year.

How do I know I can leave my home with a stranger?

The key thing to remember here is that your swopper is in exactly the same position as you. We try to urge both parties to build a relationship and a certain level of trust. Sometimes for extra peace of mind references can be requested or even with permission a polite phone call to the other members camp site.

What if an accident occurs?

Unfortunately some accidents can occur. Firstly we recommend any thing with particular value to you is kept in a safe place, i.e. a locked cupboard. This is purely to give you peace of mind with your swop. In the unlikely event of something being broken, you should contact the swopper asap & vice verser. Agree a sensible rate if necessary and a means of payment. Some people find it helpful to leave some rough guidelines about there home.

Do you have to swop mobile homes at the same time?

In many cases a mobile home is a holiday home, visited on breaks through the year. Providing the you and the swopper have come to a mutual agreement swopping at separate times is no issue, and in some cases can have its benefits. If you have not yet had a chance to meet the swopper this option might make that feasible.

How many swops can I do?

Once you become a mobile home swop member. you will be entitled to as many swops, help and advice as you need.

How do I swop keys?

You need to notify your campsite and make them aware of who is picking up your keys, or arrange collection from yourselves, if posting please remember to send them via recorded delivery.
